This year the 2017 Waikato/BOP (and beyond) Regional Digital Forum is at Tauranga’s Greerton Library, followed by a tour of our Heritage Collection at a secret location. Robert O’Brien will be presenting briefly on the Data Commons, something big in Government and enterprise right now with implications for GLAM (hear Bill English mention it in this interview with Susie Ferguson recently). It’s a rare treat to get such a heavyweight with capabilities in GLAM and IT, definitely something to look forward to.
Spaces are limited.
Why would you want to?
Our regions have many cultural institutions and individuals involved in expressing and preserving our story digitally. Each year many of these assemble in Wellington for a national digital forum, but not everyone can get to this event. We still need input and colleagues to bounce ideas and problems off though, so a one day regional digital forum is great for you or for that someone on your staff who could benefit.
