New partnership with REANNZ provides strategic infrastructure support for GLAM sector

NDF has partnered with REANNZ (the Research and Education Advanced Network New Zealand) to support digital transformation in Aotearoa’s GLAM sector, providing access to common capabilities, supporting NDF’s strategy to facilitate digital leadership and inspiration across the cultural sector.

REANNZ members gain access

If you choose to become a REANNZ Member, you’ll gain access to a suite of specialised digital solutions and professional services offered through this exciting new partnership. Working together for a brighter future

This collaboration between NDF and REANNZ demonstrates the potential for cross-sector collaboration. By working together, we can ensure that our digital heritage is not only preserved but also made accessible to all.

NDF Executive Director Teina Herzer said: “The partnership between REANNZ and the NDF is an important milestone for the digital GLAM space in Aotearoa, harnessing our combined expertise and resources to propel the cultural and heritage sectors into the next phase of digital innovation. Through strategic infrastructure support we’re setting the foundation for a digitally empowered future, ensuring that our cultural heritage is preserved and accessible, and can inspire and inform generations to come.”

REANNZ Chief Executive Amber McEwen said: “REANNZ already connects researchers and educators across the world so they can collaborate for global change. I’m excited to see how our partnership with the NDF can support the cultural sector to bring Aotearoa’s digital heritage to the world.”
