2024 Mentoring applications are now closed

After a highly successful first round in Aotearoa New Zealand, the Executive Digital Mentoring Program returns in 2024.

NDF and ACMI, Australia's national museum of screen culture, are now seeking applications for a fresh intake of mentors and participants from Aotearoa and the Pacific to take part.

In this ‘mentee-led’ program, participants determine their own learning aims and objectives and are paired with and supported by a mentor to achieve their goals, create tools for using digital strategies in the workplace, and better understand a rapidly changing digital landscape.

Participants are CEO's, executives and senior leadership roles from the GLAMIR sector, arts organisations, and iwi and Māori organisations.

Mentors are leading digital experts and will be remunerated for their time. They are offered consistent support throughout the program, including online training sessions to provide some foundational tools and tips.

We are committed to providing a mentoring program that embraces and values diversity, inclusion and accessibility. We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, orientations and identities. We strongly encourage the engagement of Tangata Whenua as well as people belonging to under-represented communities to apply. As the program is held entirely online, we invite individuals from across Aotearoa and the Pacific to apply.

This initiative is made possible with funding from the Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage Regeneration Fund and the support of NDF’s Kauri Members Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage, Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum, Te Papa Tongarewa Museum of New Zealand, and Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa National Library of New Zealand.

Applications close February 08 2024.
