National Digital Forum is committed to protecting the privacy of its members and operates in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993.

We collect personal information from you, including information about your:

  • name

  • contact information

  • location

  • billing or purchase information

We collect your personal information in order to:

  • positively confirm your identity;

  • sell you the correct types of Tickets and products, and in order to offer you special offers relevant to you;

  • provide you with information you have requested;

  • carry out day to day business; and

  • send you information which may be relevant and of interest to you.

Personal Information is voluntarily provided by members. If you choose not to enter your contact details, in particular, email and sector type, we'll be unable to contact and direct information toward you that might be helpful to your sector and professional development. You can opt into having your contact details included on our website directory but this is not compulsory to any memberships. We keep your information safe by only allowing our NDF Coordinator and allocated board members to access it.

NDF will only share your information, specifically your name and contact details (email and when necessary, phone number), with our conference conveners in order to promote and share details of our annual conference with you. We will not disclose any Member’s personal information (including name and date of birth, as supplied for relevant purchases) to any third parties, unless it is required to do so by law or where NDF believes that, in good faith, such action is necessary to comply with, a court order, or where disclosure is necessary to prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to public health or public safety, or the life or health of an individual.

By attending NDF Conferences or any NDF event, Members and Attendees consent to being photographed, filmed and recorded and for any photographs or videos to be used in NDF promotional materials. We will, wherever possible, ask for your consent before the distribution of these images.

We keep your information for five years at which point we securely destroy it by securely erasing all digital records, unless you are an active Member or Subscriber.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
