We all have elements of our work that are repetitive, frustrating, or convoluted - often when we’re using digital tools. Chances are you and your team have ideas about how you’d like everything to work. However, sometimes we lack the technical knowledge to figure out an easier (or more advanced!) way of using certain software, or we might find it difficult to communicate the system changes we’d like to make.
Join our webinar with Holly Grover, NDF Board Coordinator, to find better ways of working with the apps you use every day - without needing to be a technical expert.
Holly will cover some methods for articulating digital problems and processes, good questions to ask, and how this can help you find a solution. We’ll discuss:
finding better ways of using an existing system e.g. automating parts of a process
using free AI tools to help you figure out and make changes
when you’ll need help from your IT team or a vendor
The session will take into account some of the restrictions that GLAM organisations face and the types of work we do. The focus will be on small changes that you can make in your day-to-day work, using broadly applicable examples for the purpose of demonstration e.g. Microsoft Office.
This is a short introductory session, suitable for anyone who wants to build their confidence and skills with digital systems.
