Auckland Council Libraries joins NDF as a Kauri Member

NDF (National Digital Forum) is pleased to welcome Ngā Pātaka Kōrero o Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland Council Libraries) as our newest Kauri member, joining a growing network of national institutions committed to digital leadership and collaboration. Auckland Libraries now stands alongside other Kauri members: Manatū Taonga (Ministry for Culture and Heritage), Tāmaki Paenga Hira (Auckland War Memorial Museum), Te Papa Tongarewa (Museum of New Zealand), and Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa (National Library of New Zealand).
As the largest public library network in Aotearoa, Auckland Council Libraries brings a strong commitment to serving diverse communities through inclusive, innovative, and community-centred digital services. Their decision to join NDF at the Kauri level reflects a clear desire to contribute to shaping the future of Aotearoa’s digital cultural landscape at a national level.
“We are delighted to welcome Auckland Council Libraries to the Kauri membership,” said Claire Lanyon, Chairperson of NDF. “Their leadership and vision will strengthen our collective mahi as we navigate the evolving digital needs of our sector and our communities.”
Auckland Libraries will be featured in NDF25 conference communications and invited into collaborative opportunities alongside fellow Kauri members.
